Inescapable Dream

This painting is about the dreams you create for yourself and the challenge to achieve them. Some dreams feel too big and you’d like to abandon them but something inside won’t let you. The hurdles feel infinite but nothing can keep you away.

The composition blends reality and the dream world. The details are sharp in some places and blurred in others to show how fickle life can be. She runs wildly because she’s free. She’s surrounded by greenery meant to symbolize prosperity and growth. The white dress shows her fresh start and pure heart but there are little peaks of darkness to show the difficulties along the way.
